The Kent branch of the Institute of Directors (IOD) required catering to support an initiative to increase awareness of business opportunities created by the regeneration initiatives in the Thames gateway. The function was held in the new Ebbsfleet International Terminal. The terminal is a key stop on the new Eurostar line between London St Pancras and Paris.

It was decided that the best format would be a networking breakfast. Invitations were issued with 135 attendees on the day.

With no on-site catering facilities Wood Hall Events utilised one of its mobile catering kitchens. The vehicles are industrial grade kitchens, capable of producing a restuarant standard meal for up to 500 people. A simple buffet style format using chafing dishes was presented to delegates, who hungrily devoured everything on offer!
